822Child Development and Study – ½ Credit
Child development is a study of the pre-natal development of babies from conception to arrival. The social, intellectual, physical and emotional needs of the infant through the six-year-old are reviewed. Reading, food patterns and projects related to these age groups will be undertaken. A field trip to a local playschool/day care center will be incorporated into the program of study. Special areas of study, such as health and safety, problem situations and careers related to children will be included.
