It is a pleasure to announce that Anne- Sophie Geha has been chosen the November Elk’s Student of the Month for Bellows Falls Union High School. Sophie, a senior, is the daughter of Mary Westbrook Geha of Westminster and William Geha of Arlington, Mass.
Sophie is a delightful student who works hard in her classes. She is a pleasure to have in the classroom as she takes her education seriously and strives to improve her skills. Always willing to participate and be an active member of a group, she is a great student to work with. Sophie works hard in her classes and is willing to help other students as well.
Sophie serves the BFUHS school community in a number of capacities. She is involved in school government as the President of the BFUHS Student Council and she is a very active member of the BFUHS Drama Club. A talented actress in a number of roles, Sophie has appeared in many performances in the past few years. Another area in which Sophie is dedicatedly involved is the music program at BFUHS. She has represented the school in three different District Music Festivals, been a part of the BFUHS Marching/Pep Band and Concert Band and the Madrigal Singers.
