Mrs. Katheryne Emond: After graduating from Brattleboro Union High School, Mrs. Emond went on tour with the Young Americans: a musical performance outreach group based in southern CA. She studied massage therapy in Pria da Luz Portugal, before pursuing her Bachelor's degree in English with a minor in secondary education. She graduated from Salem State College after a semester abroad studying French at the Sorbonne. She recently married and moved back to Vermont from Florida, where she taught Language Arts for two years at Leesburg High School. While at Leesburg, she coached the JV girl's soccer team and sponsored the drama club. She was actively involved in the community,
and teamed up with Brighthouse networks to raise teen awareness about the laws that affect them. She is excited to be joining the BFUHS family this year, and looks forward to becoming actively involved in the school's community.
